Breslavia, one of the most important cities in Poland, are particularly famous for its numerous churches, that make us spiritually feel calms and favorite. During a stay in this town you can be taken place some spiritual tours, going to outwardly visit and internally the different churches and present cathedrals in the immediate proximities of the historical center.

The Church of Saint Elizabeth, restored recently after a fire that had jeopardized its integrity of it. For different centuries it has been the most important sanctuary of the

middle class of Breslavia. The fire has completely destroyed the baroque organ, but to its inside it's able anchors to admire rich furnishings and precious sepulchral stones.

The Church of Saint Maria Maddalena built in three hundred to the place of a Romanesque basilica, not to lose the pulpit mannerist and the baptismal source. On the southern external wall the Romanesque portal is found.

The gothic Church of Saint Adalberto built above the rests of a construction of the XII century, is the most ancient church on the left shore of the Oder.

The Church of Saint Cristoforo erected in four hundred and subsequently widened.

The Church of Saintt Vincent in gothic style was built between two hundred and three hundred, on the south wall the Baroque chapel of F. Hochberg is found.

The Church of Saint Mattia, completely in gothic style, preserve to its inside the grave of the famous poet Johann Scheffler.

The Jesus's Church, baroque construction of end' 600, introduce to its inside of the beautiful decorations, paintings and sculptures performed by the artists of that period.

The Church of Saint Barbara, gothic church, with aisles of the same height, today it is an orthodox church.

The Church of the Divine Providence, in baroque slow style, it is an ex Calvinist church, to its inside dominates a white-gilded tonality.

The Church of Saint Dorotea and Saint Stanislao, of the second halves four hundred, in gothic style, preserve to its inside the magnificent funeral monument to G. Spaetgen, in rococo style, work of F. J. Mangoldt.

The gothic Church of the Corpus Domini erect in the XIV-XV century, it guards to its inside a gothic slow tabernacle and a pity in delay baroque.

The Island of the Sands contains to its inside three works of art of absolute artistic relief,

the baroque Church of Saint Anna, ex convent of the nuns agostiniane and the gothic Church of Saint Maria on the Sands, built above the rests of an ancient church around the years 1334 - 1380, are one of the most beautiful churches of Breslavia, it was reconstructed after having been damaged during the war, today preserve to its inside of the gothic altars, the romanesque eardrum, a baptismal source and some funeral headstones in renaissance and baroque style.

The Island of the Cathedral picks up a series of churches of primary importance, the gothic Church of Saint Cross and Saint Bartholomew, building with two plain, the inside of the superior church develops the function of mausoleum of the family of the Piasts of Slesia the gothic Cathedral of St. Giovanni Battista,

built in the centuries XIII-XV on the rests of the first cathedral of Breslavia to date back about year 1000, to its inside it guards some works of art as the pulpit, the central altar, numerous graves and sepulchral stones, different chapels among which the most important are the chapel of St. Elizabeth and the Electoral chapel, the Church of Saint Egidio and the House of the Chapter, in romanesque - gothic style, it goes up again to the first halves two hundred. the Church of Saint Martin in romanesque - gothic style, erect in the centuries XII and XIV, in whose underground it entertains the gallery of the modern art.

After having visited all these churces of which above we have made you a brief description, we are asked there as has done, hundreds of years ago, to build some works of art of such thickness, above all if we compare to the cold modern churches that don't have in common anything with the heats and protective places of cult of the past.
