The historical and more ancient center of Passignano on the Trasimeno is today still well preserved inside the ancient boundaries medieval. This small lived center suffered a radical transformation when it passed under the dominion of the Empire Romano. After the dominion of Uguccione II in 917, it was contended among Arezzo, Perugia and Florence. Today they are few the testimonies of the past, the most ancient buildings they came completely destroyed during the second world war. To admire it is the fifteenth-century church of St. Rocco and that of St. Bernardino. From Passignano daily depart some ferries that bring to the Island Maggiore.
