Despite the forecasts of the time they were adverse and some pluvius drop had begun to bathe the warm asphalt in Milan, we have decided to make a trip in Val Sesia. Departed by the chief town lombardo we have crossed 116 Kms before reaching our destination: Island of Vocca. This small country of mountain rises on an island of the river Sesia. We were well equipped with table, chairs and beach umbrella, food for a regiment of soldiers and so much desire to have a good time us. Just in this point of the river they are formed some small beaches where can start us with the towel catching the sun.

Between us there was also a "fisherman", Caesar, that has found the correct points after having observed the river whether to throw the hook, but the trouts have not wanted to bite, no fish!! however he is consoled making himself a beautiful bath in the cold waters of the Sesia. Mario and I looked at him with envy because not having brought the custom from bath we have not been able to plunge us, rather we are due to remain on the shore to burst of heat. Malgosia and Silvia have spent different time to the sun, in the attempt to tan some, and then they have prepared us a banquet to do envy to an emperor of the ancient Rome. The day has been very beautiful, sun and fun the whole day.

All of a sudden they have also arrived some apprentices of the hydrospeed, that it is a sporting discipline had been discovering for little time. In this zone of the valley there are different schools of rafting, canoe and hydrospeed, a pleasant day can be gone by overcoming the rapidses of the river. Toward the 18.30 we are we have recovered all of our things and leaves again toward Milan, it has been really a beautiful trip, recommends it to all those people who don't have had the pleasure to know this valley and its river yet.
