Sunday we go to visit the splendid park of the Villa Pallavicino there, to Stresa on the Most greater Lake, that entertains a zoological garden and a botanical garden.
This Villa was realized by Roger Borghi friend of Alexander Manzoni, that he was in love of so many beauties offered by the Most greater Lake. The following owner was the Duke of Villombrosa and subsequently it was purchased by the marquises Pallavicino (the actual owners).

After having crossed the first line of avenue among splendid samples of magnolia, we are found ahead there to a structure of cypresses to "arcades" from which have admired a fantastic panorama of the Lake with its three islands: island Bella, island Mother and island of the Fishermen. We are penetrated in an area there where the free animals round, and we have been able to caress goats, llama, donkeys and pony. Shortly after, crossing the avenue with beautiful samples of Liriodendrum we have arrived in front of the enclosures with fawns, zebras, kangaroos, monkeys, polecats; one of the principal attractions are the beavers that are found in a tub that is fed by a natural source. It's possible to observe so many varieties of exotic birds.

We have come then in front of the Villa where the natural amphitheater is found with a tall cedar of Lebanon.
We have arrived therefore to the greenhouses with the splendid garden to the Italian and we have admired an endless variety of spectacular tulips. A little far a little pond is found with so many swans and ducks.
This park, with many varieties of magnolias, rhododendrons, camellias and azaleas it is a relaxing place, where to also spend the whole day, there is the possibility to have the breakfast "to sack" using special predisposed areas or can be had lunch to the restaurant "The Stable."
