Crossing the highway from Apricale direction Bordighera, pass through another ancient suburb, Isolabona. Characteristic element of this small lived center is the bell tower that sprouts among the roofs of the houses. Very interesting it is also the situated octagonal fountain in the center, it goes up again to 1486. The suburb is dominated from a castle, recently restructured, to whose inside in the summer months are organized some very fascinating demonstrations. Crossing the road can be admired, on the left, the ancient crusher of Isolabona, with its characteristic wheel, today turned into an elegant restaurant with terrace, ideal place to celebrate a special event. |
